Discography Capture The Crown

Inception (2010-2011)

Formed in early 2010, Capture The Crown quickly gained success through their YouTube Channel, and first release "You Call That a Knife? This Is a Knife!, quickly reaching three million views in under one year. Three of the members (Welfare, Menzies, and Ellis) were previously in another metalcore band known as Atlanta Takes State. While their music video quickly rose them to popularity in the scene, it also gained them criticism for resembling other bands in the genre Their drummer Tyler (known by his nickname, Lone America) is the only member not from Australia, being from Pennsylvania in the United States. The other members met him online and he was later asked to join the band.

Capture The Crown is a relatively new band founded in 2010 and its genre part by the Metal / Hardcore created in the Australian way. From Sydney, Australia this young quintet want nothing more than create a sound that fans can move the riff first to last. Their motto is live fast, play fast, fast party.

To Capture The Crown, his fans come first, create music not only for themselves but especially to his fans. They find great pleasure in making music that is meant to be fun and simple, something you can easily move and sing along to their fans. The lyrics come from personal life experiences and are written in a way so that fans can relate.
With a strong work ethic and desire to excel, Capture The Crown makes the most of every moment and situation that may come.
Capture The Crown have released their debut song "You Call That A Knife? This Is A Knife!" with a music video directed by Gareth McGilvray.
